We all like to save money, and we want to help you do exactly that. We'd like to share with you a very simple, but yet, very effective way to do so. Inspect and change your filter(s) regularly. That's all? Yes, that's it. How will this help me save money you might ask? Well simply put, a dirty filter will prevent your air conditioning system from working correctly and efficiently. Without the proper amount of airflow moving across the indoor coil, it will freeze up. Not only does a dirty filter cause the unit to freeze up, but it will also cause the blower motor to work overtime. Thus resulting in the motor overheating, over-amping, (meaning increased electricity use and larger utility bills) and then eventually failing completely. So a clean filter will improve the air quality of your home as well as save you a few bucks.

Let's be honest; if it's mechanical, it will eventually become worn out and/or break down. Unfortunately it's inevitable. However, there is something you can do to prevent the inevitable from taking place prematurely. Yearly maintenance of your HVAC equipment. A unit that isn't regularly serviced simply isn't going to have the life span of one that is. And there's not much worse than having to spend thousands of dollars to replace an entire system far before its necessary, simply because it wasn't maintained. Not only does regular service and maintenance extend the life of your HVAC equipment, but it also ensures that it is working when you need it the most.
